Designing for learning means allowing exploration of materials using multiple senses and multiple ways of navigating. Collaboration is key to co-creation, both in the learning design process and in the learning experience itself. I was delighted work with the Bullseye Projects team and with the education team at Bellevue Arts Museum to co-create learning experiences supporting the Tg: Transitions in Kiln-Glass exhibition. Our interactive activities for all ages prompt learning with self-directed, playful experiences to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of kilnformed glass. And exploring glass together is fun!
Tg: Transitions in Kiln-Glass is Bullseye Glass Co.’s biennial juried competition honoring outstanding contemporary kiln-glass design, architecture, and art. Works by award winners and finalists are on view in an exhibition hosted by Bellevue Arts Museum through May 29, 2022.
